Simply Bare Organic Pop-up Boasts Beautiful Visualization of Terpenes
Simply Bare Organic™, a premium Canadian organic certified cannabis producer based in Delta, BC, debuted the BC Organic Apple Toffee cultivar in the fall of 2020. Evoking hints of its Crème Brulée and Sour Apple lineage, the Indica-leaning cultivar is rich in caryophyllene, limonene, farnesene and humulene terpenes.
To educate and engage consumers about the punchy new product, the Simply Bare team launched an in-store pop-up in partnership with Muse Cannabis Store that paid homage to terpenes, the aromatic compounds that provide cannabis cultivars with their unique and distinct aromas.
Visitors to the stylish pop-up were greeted with a sample of hot apple cider, customized with terpene-inspired toppings of fresh green apples, lemon, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, sage and cilantro. Simply Bare’s ode to terpenes was brought to life with custom terpene vase displays by Botanicure, a new Vancouver-based floral company inspired by the art of floriography, or the language of flowers.
Each vase was customized with an aesthetic combination of natural ingredients such as moss, fruit, herbs and spices, which visualized characteristics of each of the prominent terpenes in BC Organic Apple Toffee: cinnamon sticks for caryophyllene; orange slices for limonene; crisp green apples for farnesene; and sprigs of sage, cilantro and ginseng for humulene.
