Challenge —

Build overarching brand awareness in the US market, highlighting alder apparel as a pioneer for modern and inclusive, women’s outdoor recreation apparel.

Approach

To boost brand awareness and help drive brand affinity with a specific focus on the US market, Nine Point Agency built a strategic media relations program with gifting, awards, and the brand’s co-founders at the centre. Through storytelling, interviews, and product reviews, coupled with intentional influencer seeding, Nine Point was able to cut through the clutter and highlight the brand’s deep commitments to inclusivity and sustainability, its modern clothing, and the founders’ long-term dedication to accelerating circularity. 

Impact

Alder’s rich story reached new audiences with feature editorial placements and product inclusion in top-tier outlets across the US including Well + Good, GQ, Conde Nast Traveller, Golf Digest, and SELF’s 2023 Activewear Awards, among others.

Challenge

Approach

Establish and grow brand awareness in Canada while educating consumers about the New Zealand brand’s B Corp status and its commitment to sustainability.

To introduce Australasia’s number one outdoor apparel brand to the Canadian market, Nine Point Agency created and executed a dynamic PR program focused on experiential storytelling. By levering product testing and reviews, authentic influencer partnerships, and an immersive media and influencer outdoor event, Nine Point showcased Kathmandu’s premium product and its commitment to sustainability, driving not only brand awareness but brand affinity.

Impact

Over a six-month program, Nine Point secured 65 editorial features (8,798,500 reach) in top-tier fashion, outdoor, and lifestyle outlets across Canada including FASHION Magazine, Vancouver Sun, National Post, Explore Magazine, Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine, and others.

Approach —

Nine Point Agency helped create awareness for the Smash + Tess’ new celebrity collaboration collection with Paula Abdul. We focused on a national strategic media relations program to garner coverage and drive retail sales for the collection. Build widespread awareness for the grand opening of Arts Umbrella’s state-of-the-art new school facility, The New Limitless, on Granville Island.
